Taylor-Joy's siblings are four of her father's previous marriage. The family lived in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and later moving to Victoria district of London. Taylor Joy admitted that the transition from Buenos Aires, to Victoria was tough and she didn't learn English in hopes of going back to Argentina. Hill House, a school in the same district in the same district as Northlands must accept her. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she trained in ballet and appeared in school plays. In her 16th year she decided to leave school in order to pursue acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy grew up as an actor who was certain she would be one. Her dreams were realized after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a job as a model.
